Ephesus beach today, was once the commercial harbor of
the Ancient city of Ephesus.
The original situation of the Ancient Ephesus city was established
on the Aegean coast, on the plain of Kucuk Menderes river, which
today is located 8 km. away from the archaeological excavations,
and is called as the Ephesus Beach.

because of this harbor with its important trade links. But during
centuries, the allusions of the river filled up the sea, and the
harbor lost its importance by getting un useful over years. In
